Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
