TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. But factor into your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
