TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
